Is that so, well Google wants to connect roughly the equivalent of 8 DS4s directly to a residential connection, let alone a customer/business location...

1 Gbps coupled with IPv6 could allow for some really sweet media/information sharing directly between home users.

You could stream 1080p video to 100 people at the same time.

I don't even need to read the rest of the article..I'd gladly pay my current $42 a month for a full symmetric 100Mbps connection, but instead for my $42 I get the 'cheapest' DSL connection from AT&T with maybe a 1.5Mbps/384kbps...maybe, at best. So, I pay 4 times as much for 1/66 of the connection.
